Happenings at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center
Exciting things are happening at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center! Every Thursday-Saturday from 4-9 PM, enjoy the Leinie’s Beer Garden at Miller Time Pub & Grill. Celebrate summer with beer, wine, seltzers and snacks, along with outdoor games and live music. The beer garden is located in the courtyard area adjacent to the hallway connecting the parking garage with the hotel. In other news, the beloved Monarch Lounge has officially reopened inside the hotel. Just up the steps from the reception desk, the lounge is open Tuesday-Thursday from 4-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 4pm-midnight. Join us for Martini night every Friday from 8-11pm, featuring select $5 martinis and live music.

East-West bus Rapid Transit Updates
Orange barrels today, enhanced transit tomorrow! Some of those drums dotting Wisconsin Avenue are future pick-up points for the state’s first Bus Rapid Transit line. With success in cities such as Cleveland, Grand Rapids, and Indianapolis, BRT uses a combination of specialized vehicles, dedicated lanes and enhanced boarding platforms (BRT stations) to provide a premium transit experience. And for regular fare! This project includes 33 total BRT stations, spanning from downtown to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Wauwatosa. Breaking ground 2021, construction began in Wauwatosa and progressed as far east as Wisconsin Avenue and 27th Street. Picking up in Spring 2022, activities have focused on downtown. See a snapshot…

Now Open: Howl at the Moon
There is a new venue in the Old World Third Street Entertainment District! Located at 1103 N MLK Drive, Howl at the Moon is Milwaukee’s newest dueling piano bar and will feature non-stop live entertainment every weekend. Howl at the Moon is open every Thursday through Saturday from 6pm to 2am. It’s also a great spot to host your next private event. Get more information on reservations and booking events here.

More Vendors Announced at the 3rd St. Market Hall
In case you missed it, there are 4 new additions to the 3rd St. Market Hall! We’re excited welcome Kawa Sushi, Kawa Ramen, Middle East Side and Greenhouse to the neighborhood. You can view the full list of vendors here. The 3rd St. Market Hall is open for dining and activities Monday –Thursday 11am to 9pm, Friday – Saturday 11am to 11pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm.

2022 Night Market Dates Announced!
In case you missed it, we officially announced the Milwaukee Night Market returns for a full season in 2022! This free, outdoor event showcases a variety of vendors, performers and artists, transforming West Wisconsin Avenue into an exciting fusion of all the city has to offer. Downtown Security Network
The Downtown Security Network (DSN) is an informal organization comprised of downtown Milwaukee security professionals, real estate representatives and public law enforcement representatives who look to prioritize the safety of Milwaukee’s citizens. The purpose of this group is to provide and discuss information on security, safety, crime trends and events impacting downtown Milwaukee. If you’re interested in joining DSN, please review and fill out this application. Taste and Toast March 7-11
Taste & Toast returns for five nights of sampling and sipping at downtown restaurants. From March 7 to 11 from 4 to 7 p.m., enjoy an array of small plates, appetizers and mixers.
