Central Library’s 125th Anniversary

Milwaukee River Challenge

The 22nd Annual Milwaukee River Challenge returns to the Menomonee and Milwaukee Rivers on Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Featuring some of the best high school teams in the region, spectators can watch as they travel the three-mile course that comes through downtown Milwaukee. New District 1 Captain

Congratulations to Rob Thiel who was named as the Captain of District One last month. He had previously served as a lieutenant in the Milwaukee Police Department since 2018, and then served as Acting Captain of District One since late 2022 prior to his official promotion.
