Introducing the MKE Theater District
Last month, VISIT Milwaukee helped launch the Milwaukee Theater District, a marketing collaboration that seeks to drive increased awareness and attendance at Milwaukee’s premier venues all located in a safe and walkable cluster in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Westown venues include the Riverside Theater, Bradley Symphony Center, Miller High Life Theater and Turner Hall Ballroom. The Scent Experience at the Spice House
The Spice House recently introduced The Scent Experience and Spice Bar for a sensational journey. Customers are invited to sample and smell spices in-stores for an all new and inclusive experience. The Scent Experience features an assortment of twenty spices and blends, which will educate customers on the nuances between varieties of certain spices. The Spice Bar offers a rotating assortment of four different spices available each month for sampling. Reservations are not required.

Milwaukee Pro Soccer Coming to Westown
Even though kick-off won’t take place until 2025, local soccer fans are already looking forward to watching professional outdoor soccer in Westown. The Iron District development will be home to a USL Championship team, the second-highest tier of professional soccer in the country, along with Marquette University Men’s and Women’s soccer and lacrosse programs. The Milwaukee Pro Soccer club will be community-centric, so fans will be involved in the process of naming the team, selecting the team colors and creating the team crest. New Entertainment Venues Proposed for Westown
With two proposed venues announced last month, it looks like Westown will continue to grow as entertainment heart of downtown. Transforming a long vacant corner of West Michigan Street, Bear Development and Kacmarcik Enterprises announced plans to develop the Iron District which will be home to an 8,000-seat soccer stadium, indoor concert venue, hotel and apartment complex. Over at the former Bradley Center site, FPC Live is looks to bring a multi-level complex to the Deer District and is expected to host over 135 events annually. Now Open: Howl at the Moon
There is a new venue in the Old World Third Street Entertainment District! Located at 1103 N MLK Drive, Howl at the Moon is Milwaukee’s newest dueling piano bar and will feature non-stop live entertainment every weekend. Howl at the Moon is open every Thursday through Saturday from 6pm to 2am. It’s also a great spot to host your next private event. Get more information on reservations and booking events here.
