On Saturday, October 22, both the Milwaukee Admirals and Milwaukee Bucks held their first home games of their 2022-2023 seasons, drawing thousands of visitors to the area. And let’s not forget about college basketball with Marquette Men’s Basketball returning to Fiserv Forum on Monday, November 7 and UWM Men’s Basketball at the UWM-Panther Arena on Saturday, November 12. Dog Day at the Milwaukee Admirals
Mark your calendars! Dog Day returns to the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday, November 19 at 6 p.m. Bring your furry friend for as low as $5 and support your favorite hometown team! Part of the proceeds from each ticket purchase using the dedicated link here will support fundraising efforts for Milwaukee’s first Downtown Dog Park. Milwaukee Pro Soccer Coming to Westown
Even though kick-off won’t take place until 2025, local soccer fans are already looking forward to watching professional outdoor soccer in Westown. The Iron District development will be home to a USL Championship team, the second-highest tier of professional soccer in the country, along with Marquette University Men’s and Women’s soccer and lacrosse programs. The Milwaukee Pro Soccer club will be community-centric, so fans will be involved in the process of naming the team, selecting the team colors and creating the team crest. 21st Annual Milwaukee River Challenge
The Milwaukee River Challenge is back for its 21st year on Saturday, September 17. The event begins at 9 a.m. and attracts some of the best high school, collegiate and club teams in the Midwest for a competitive, friendly race on the river. Follow participants through the heart of downtown Milwaukee as they navigate narrow passageways and other challenges. Be sure to frequent one of the restaurants or bars along the Riverwalk and enjoy race action throughout the day.
