The LoveMKE Summer SoulStice Celebration, an all-ages event promoting health and wellness, will take place in The Beer Garden at the Deer District, on Friday, June 21, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.! The event supports mental and physical well-being with a portion of the proceeds being donated to NAMI Southeastern WI in support of Mental Health Awareness. Milwaukee Public Library launched their first-ever Entrepreneur-in-Residence program designed to support local business members. Eli Riviera will lead the program that includes workshops, mentoring and library resources. This 6-week program begins on Tuesday, June 4 from 12 to 2 p.m.. Registration is required. The Milwaukee Admirals were crowned 2024 Central Division Champions as they defeated the Grand Rapid Griffins 2-0 in Game Five of the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Admirals now advance to the AHL Western Conference Finals for the second straight season where they’ll take on the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Major Goolsby’s is hosting a watch party for Game Two on Friday, May 31 at 9 p.m. The Admrials return home to the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for Games Three, Four and Five of the best-of-seven series on June 4, June 6 and June 8.
