2024 WESTOWN ANNUAL MEETING
Earlier this month, we hosted the 2024 Westown Annual Meeting, presented by We Energies Foundation. Downtown leaders and stakeholders visited Fiserv‘s new global headquarters, and heard an exclusive conversation with Bob Hau, Chief Financial Officer of Fiserv. THE 12 BARS OF CHRISTMAS
The 11th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas bar crawl is coming up on Saturday, December 14, and a number of bars in the Old World Third Street Entertainment District are participating. MARQUETTE V WISCONSIN
The Marquette Golden Eagles are off to an impressive start this season, and are currently ranked #10 in the nation. On Saturday, December 7, they’re back at Fiserv Forum for a SOLD OUT match-up against I-94 rivals, the Wisconsin Badgers. The game tips-off at noon, and you can expect Westown’s bars and restaurants to be packed with fans of both teams.

WPR CLASSICAL MUSIC DAY
On Thursday, December 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., join Wisconsin Public Radio in celebration of WPR’s new classical music service in Milwaukee. WPR host Norman Gilliland will broadcast live from the Bradley Symphony Center with live performances by the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, the Florentine Opera and others. MILWUAKEE COUNTY & CITY OF MILWAUKEE HOLIDAY DRIVE
The City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County are partnering up for the 17th Annual Holiday Drive through December 13. This year, the drive will benefit families and individuals at Meta House. They are seeking donations of all kinds including fuzzy socks and blankets, self-care items and toiletries, toys and board games for kids and more. See their Amazon Wish List and other drop-off locations here. You can also bring your donations to the County Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 2 at 3 p.m. in the County Courthouse Rotunda (901 N 9th St.).

MPL ENTREPRENEUR-IN-RESIDENCE
The Milwaukee Public Library is looking for innovative, impactful and community-focused entrepreneurs to submit proposals their Entrepreneur Residency program. The entrepreneur-in-residence will create workshops and offer one-on-one consultations to support aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs. Interested applicants can find more details at mpl.org/vendors. The deadline to apply is December 1.
